My Healing Became My Calling

Hi, I’m Anthea—certified life, health, menopause, Ayurveda, yoga, and strength coach—and founder of Loam Wellness.

I’ve always been deeply curious about what it means to be fully human—how we heal, grow, and reconnect with who we truly are.

My approach blends science and soul: grounded in evidence-based coaching, enriched by the wisdom of Ayurveda, and strengthened through safe, body-aware movement for midlife women.

At the heart of it all is a deep belief: when you learn to listen to your body, everything begins to change. That belief was born from lived experience.

For years, I jeopardized my own well-being in pursuit of external validation. I pushed through exhaustion, ignored the quiet warnings, and disconnected from what my body was trying to tell me—until it all caught up.

The stress took a toll on my nervous system. My body began to whisper: “Something isn’t right. Please listen.” But I was scared. I didn’t know how to stop—or what life might look like if I did.

Eventually, the whispers became screams. My body demanded change. That moment—though incredibly hard—was the beginning of something sacred.

I had to learn how to love and trust myself again. To care for my body in the way it uniquely needed. To slow down enough to hear the wisdom that was always there.

Now, I help others do the same.

Because your body is wise. I want to help you to listen, so it doesn’t have to scream.
